Required Licensing

Licenses & Regulations

Texas Hunting License

All hunters 17+ must have a valid Texas hunting license. Available at tpwd.texas.gov or most sporting goods stores.

Federal Duck Stamp

Hunters 16+ must possess a Federal Migratory Bird Hunting & Conservation Stamp. Available at USPS or store.usgs.gov.

HIP Certification

Free Federal Harvest Information Program registration is required. Complete it when purchasing your Texas hunting license.

We recommend booking as early as possible. Prime weekend and peak season dates in December and January typically fill up months in advance. Book through MallardBay to check availability.

Yes! However, it must be a private blind with 3 or more people. If your group is smaller, you will be charged for a full blind.

West Texas hosts a variety of migratory waterfowl including mallards, pintails, teal (early season), wigeon, gadwall, and shovelers. Bag limits are subject to TPWD regulations each season.

Lodging and meals are not included in the prices of our stateside hunting trips. It is something we can add on if wanted — just reach out and we'll put together a package that works for you.

Absolutely. Our guides are patient and experienced with hunters of all skill levels. Whether it's your first time or your hundredth, we'll make sure you have a great time and come away with new skills.
